🏫 What is GesClas?⌄
A Chilean school suite aligned with MINEDUC: class register (Decreto 67), assessment with OMR + AI grading, attendance, school climate, finance, enrollment, SIGE and a family app — all in one place.
🔑 How does my institution sign in?⌄
Each institution has its own portal at yourschool.gesclas.cl. Students, teachers, guardians and administrators sign in there with just their email and password; the portal recognizes the institution automatically.
👪 Do guardians and students register themselves?⌄
No. The accounts are created by the institution when it loads its data. The user just signs in with their email; the first time, they set their password with “Forgot your password?”.
📸 How does photo grading work?⌄
The student answers on a bubble sheet and you take a photo from your phone. GesClas detects the answers (OMR) and, when there's handwritten work, grades it with AI on a 1.0–7.0 scale.
💳 How much does it cost?⌄

🔒 Is it safe with my students' data?⌄
Yes. We comply with Law 21,719 on data protection (consent and data-subject rights), each institution is isolated from the others, and we encrypt sensitive information.
🔗 Does it integrate with what I already use?⌄
Yes: it exports records to SIGE, integrates with Google Classroom and delivers reports in Excel and PDF.
